A Familiar Toon.
I enjoyed reading this blog about Cartoon Network. We all love cartoons if we are honest and a lot of us have a particular favourite. Among my own, I would have to list such classics as Hong Kong Phooey, Tom and Jerry, Wacky Races and Road Runner. Cartoons bring back a lot of happy memories.
Boomerang probably does have a better selection of the old school cartoons. Modern cartoons don’t really appeal to me all that much; they just don’t seem to have the same style about them. I don’t, for example, ever remember coming across The Pink Panther on Cartoon Network.
I can’t ever remember seeing Tom and Jerry in the last couple of years either. Funnily enough, it was Tom and Jerry that encouraged me to get pet insurance when I got a cat a couple of years ago, just one of the reasons why they not only bring back happy memories, but also important reminders for daily life.
